Terms &
conditions.
How this website may be used, and how enquiries about Centre programmes are handled.
These terms govern use of the Centre for Legal Advocacy website. A programme booking may be subject to additional terms given to you before it is confirmed.
About these terms
References to the Centre for Legal Advocacy, “we” and “us” in these website terms concern the Centre’s website, programmes and communications. Questions about these terms can be sent to the contact address below.
Using the website
You may browse the website for information about the Centre and its programmes. Please do not misuse it, interfere with its operation, or reproduce substantial parts of its content without permission.
We aim to keep information accurate and accessible, but may update, correct, suspend or withdraw content. Links to external websites are provided for convenience; their content and policies are controlled by their respective operators.
Programmes and booking
Programme descriptions explain the intended scope of training. Dates, faculty, fees, format, eligibility and places are confirmed for each cohort before booking opens. An enquiry or expression of interest does not reserve a place or create a training contract.
If you proceed with a booking, we will provide the applicable price, payment, cancellation and rescheduling terms before your place is confirmed. Any mandatory consumer rights continue to apply. Training prepares participants for professional tasks or assessments; it is not an official qualification or a guarantee of any assessment, admission, employment or case outcome.
Exercises and case scenarios are for training. Website content and teaching materials are not legal advice on a live matter.
Materials and rights
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, text and Centre training materials are protected by copyright or used with permission. You may make personal copies of website information for your own reference. Other use requires written permission. Materials supplied for a programme may have separate use terms provided at booking.
Responsibility
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights that cannot be excluded under consumer law. Subject to that, the website is provided for general information and we are not responsible for decisions made in reliance on it as a substitute for professional advice.
These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you as a consumer.
